Cant print after printer share is used
Hello,
Im setting up a plotter for two pc's. the pc's are networked and the printer is shared out off of one of them. The pc the plotter is connected to can print fine until the pc that uses the printer shares prints. Then the original computer can no longer print. any ideas? |

Try the system log event viewer (control panel > Admin tools) for more detailed error messages on why the printer stops working.

What make\model printer do you have? Maybe the manufacturer`s website will have something that addresses the issue in their support, maybe an updated driver.
It sounds like the spooler could be hanging. I`d try disabling spooling (in the printer properties NOT services) and try printing direcrtly to the printer. |
