advice with wireless router

had additional comp inst with wireless router, up and running no problem, but sometimes now and then it seems to get a low signal and cannot find page.it has coverage area of 15mtr indoors and the comp is directly underneath the router, the router being upstairs. quite anouing!!!!!


the router is a peak802.11g w/4port 10/100 switch cable/dsl.

could be in†erference, try using a different wireless channel on your router. do you have any cordless phones with a radio frequency of 2.4ghz? if your router is the same 2.4ghz, then u r gonna want to either change the phone to a 5ghz or 900mhz phone or get a 5ghz router (802.11A). do u only get signal loss when u r directly underneath the router? try updating your firmware drivers on the router. unfortunately thats wireless technology, every now and then your signal will drop? it happens to everyone. is it happening only once in awhile or does it happen like 15 times a day?
