Question What size Ethernet card ?

I have Cable, Broadband Internet and i am going to buy an ethernet card for my computer im building to hook it to a router to my other computer, what size mbps do i need, i saw some that say 10/100 or some that say 10/100/1000mbps what speed to i need ? thanx

your broadband connection is only around 5ookbps to 8mpbs, so no matter what card you get will be fine, if you have a gigabit network at home or plan to put one in the near future then go with the gigabit card, either way a 10/100 or 10/100/1000 ethernet card will both work the same as far s browsing the net, you will only get to use the the higher 10/100/1000 speeds on your internal network

Most new motherboards have a builtin Ethernet adapter anyway, you shouldn't have to buy a card.
