Wireless Networking
Hi there, just wondering do you have to have a pc connected to the router/modem in a wireless network. want a wireless network for 1 pc as the phone point is in the other room to my PC and don't want to run this really long cable anymore!

no, you dont have to have a pc connected to the wireless router/modem. You would just need to get a wireless pci card for the computer you want to connect wirelessly.

just remember it is highly recommended that if you are making any configuration changes to the router, you should do it via a wired connection. And whatever you do, never flash the routers firmware via a wireless connection. Other than that, as mentioned above, there is no need to have a PC hardwired to the router.
