Friends,
I have been doing some reading on the threads that pertain to the GRC.COM hack. I have to say that they are very interesting reads as I am really new to internet security. I have only been a PC user for about 3 years and since I have become somewhat versed in building, troubleshooting and others. I personally have never run any anitvirus progs on any of my machines and have yet to get a single virus( knock on wood). One good reason could be that I mostly open everyting at work so myabe that could be it. Anyways, I run dial-up at home and I was wondering since ZA is a free download, should I try it just to be safe. Do I have to run a antivirus also or could I run it alone? Will I see an affect on peformance since I assume it is always running or is this prog pretty resource friendly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am really interested in learning about internet security. Thanks Edrod13

It leaves virtually no stamp, it's clean as a Windows app can be. It doesn't affect your net connection/speed/avg.ping at all.
It will block more than you realize, and will let you easily detect any outgoing spyware bots or trojans. Everyone that doesn't have some sort of hardware firewall should run this app, end of story. Xayd |
