Wi-Fi connection Problems..?
Hi all
I'm new here, so if you can help that would be just great! I have a buffalo airstation running on my flat mates mac, and I have a Ralink wireless card with antenna running in my machine.. I have installed the latest drivers for the wi-fi card and evey so often say 30-60 secs the connection keeps knocking itself off?? Why is it doing this? It is soooo annoying, I want a constant connection. I am running XP SP1. Was Running SP2, but gone backwards as SP2 was preventing me from capturing video. Can anyone help? Many thanks |

any sources of interference?
portable phones, microwave ovens, older tv's, big hunks of metal (filing cabinets, copper or iron pipes in the wall, walls of reinforced concrete), neighbors with wireless between or near either the send or recieving points? you can fiddle with the channels on the airstation to see if that will resolve your issue... |
