My friends computer(which I'm babysiter Or pcsitting). Whenever I've tried to go to Yahoo's main page(yahoo.com). It shows the yahoo auctions page with the top banner cut off. It happens no matter which way I've tried to go to it either a link, favorite or typing in address in the address bar. It happens in both IE6 and Firefox. The OS is Windows ME. I've run AVG,Spybot,Adaware and Counterspy which did find a lot of stuff but didn't solve the problem. I suspect a browser hijacker but I'm not sure. It only happens with Yahoo, nothing else. Any suggestions or tips from anyone thats run into this? Thank you.

I ran "Hijack This" and solved the problem. Turns out he owns stock in Yahoo(at least it seemed like it). I uninstalled Yahoo programs (messenger, companion, selling manager, toolbar etc...). Not sure exactly which one caused the problem though I suspect it was Yahoo Companion. From what I've read Yahoo's notorious for adding extras to there software. Anyway problem solved (for now, lol). Just thought I'd share the update.
