2 Desktops & Cable Broadband

Hello,

I have 2 desk tops that I want to have internet access to at home.
I currently have one computer set up with my local cable internet company.
Since I now have a second, how would I go about getting a second line?

Can I use the existing internet connection I have now or do I need to call my cable company to come out and set my other computer up.

I am a complete noob to this enviroment.

Please help

The easiest solution is to buy a router. You will plug the cable modem into the router, and then connect your PCs to the router as well. The router will automatically share the ineternet connection.
