Netgear WLAN/router

Hi,

I'm looking at 2 routers from Netgear:
- Netgear WGT624 (70 EU - 80 EU)
- Netgear WGT634U (140 EU - 150 EU)

Netgear seems to be top-notch in the routermarket, after some googling. One thing still puzzles me. Netgear speaks of "Super G" technology for these 2 routers:
- Is this some kind of MIMO?
- I've seen a graph which states these routers are capable to still offer 10 Mbps of bandwith at a range of +/- 175 feet. Offcourse this is dependent on the situation (walls etc.), but is it really this good in contrast to the competition when it comes to range?
- Is it something only netgear gear can make use of?
- Would you recommend one of these routers? If not what alternatives do you recommend?

I'm still wondering if I'm going to need the USB2.0 version or the simpler 624 version. Time to make my mind up.

What I forgot. I just saw there is a list of verified devices that will work with USB2.0 port on the Netgear WGT634U. Is it very likely that other not verified USB drives and USB harddrives won't work?

Thanks in advance,
