Possibly OT-KVM Switches

I'm curious about KVM switches. Does anyone have any recommendations, or information that may be helpful to me. Thus far when I search I only get information from the sales people and the manufacturers. I'd rather not gather my information from a bunch of people who have a vested interest in selling me stuff that I'm not even certain I need.

TIA,

Seth

I bought a Starview 2 port KVM from Startech to switch back and forth betwen my WinME machine and my Linux box. It was about $120.00CDN including 2 sets of patch cables that are nicely bundled to keep down the mess. Manually switched or a double tap of the CTRL key flips it over.
