Smile programs shut down

Howdy all, I dont know if this is the right place to post this, But we are having trouble with some programs at our bodyshop. Basically My sisterinlaw got a email from her friend and it told her to download this file to veiw content. well now when we run Our mitchell estimating system, write an estimate and right before you lock it it will shut down, all the programs on this drive will do the same. when you minimize them then open them back up they shutdown. Now Her pc is the server and her pc. we have 3 others networked in and they all do this on the networked as well as the server. everso often she will get a warning come up and say there is a conflict with ip address to m drive( witch is the server ).
any thought why our programs would just shut down for no reason. Also I ran norton and anti-spam and ad-aware, and nothing shows up.

any thoughts.

Thanks Larry

Are the virus scanner and spyware programs up to date with the latest definitions? Try starting Windows up in safe mode with networking enabled and see if the programs still close on you.
