Wink What do i do with Low or no connectivity?

I have a intel pro 100 network card which was working fine till a day a go when i started to install my router.

I now cannot get the internet to work at all even when the computer plug straight from the cable modem into the network via ethlenet. The network card says it's working fine as well.

The connetion is working as the usb works. What do i do?????

Spec: win xp

Thanks

1. Download the following file and put it on a floppy or USB key for use in a few minutes:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html

2. Turn the power to the cable modem off.
3. Do a hard reset on the router to factory defaults and turn it off.
4. Disconnect all cables between the cable modem, router, and PC.
5. If you were using the cable modem through USB, uninstall the cable modem driver.
6. Connect the Ethernet output of the cable modem to the router's Internet/WAN port.
7. Connect the computer to the router with Ethernet.
8. Power up the cable modem and the router, wait 2 minutes.
9. Run the winsock repair tool you downloaded on the computer, it will reboot when it's done.

You should now have access.

If no access, you need to call your ISP and give them the MAC address of your router.
