International access
Hello.
I have a few users in Africa who are not able to access our intranet. We have a citrix based accesss point for authorization. The users in Africa are not very technological and are unabel to provide details on the problem. I have already configured the hosts file to enable resolution. I am not sure why the user in Afirca are not able to access the intranet. What could the probelm possible be? I am taking suggestions. Thanks!! |

Wild guess - maybe their ISP is blocking some ports - or they are trying to connect through a proxy?

Thanks for responsing!
I looked at his ports before he left and they looked good. His File/Print Sharing was with ANY subnet. As for the proxy, not quite sure what he is using over there to make the connections. I asked him to advise me what internet explorer he is using. I am aware that if he is using AOL or Netscape, that could be the problem as well. Still looking for suggestions. I'll take them all! |
