My linksys WUSB54g worked fine when i first installed it then after a few mintues it loses power, from then on My adapter does not turn on, XP saids code 10, I have the lastest drivers, I talk to linksys but they were NO HELP!!!
This device is on my laptop and it running on 1.1usb not 2.0.....OS XP pack 2 Please I need help....I've been trying to fix this problem for 3 days now..I reformatted 4 times still same problem..Its will work fine at first then lose power and will not start up again... |

Send it back and exchange it for a PCMCIA adapter such as the WPC54G. I have NEVER had good consistent luck with any networking device that runs on USB.

good advice i highly agree with that.
networking is not one of usb's strong points especially usb1.1 |
