Trouble Sharing my internet
Hi All
I am recently trying to add 2 more computers to my network. What i have is a a belkin wireless G router conected to my 2 computers at my desk. What i want to add is my netgear hub down the hall to hook up my roomates 2 computers. Problem is it says that there is no connection after i have everything hooked up. I have looked at my router setup page and i found that the firewall is blocking a DoS from the same IP that my roomates computers have, so i don't know what i am doing wrong, if its a hardware or software issue. any help would be great and if you need more info let me know. Thank all. |

Disable any and all software firewalls on all computers.

To connect a hub/switch to a router, you need to use the uplink port on ONE of the devices. If they don't have uplink ports, they MAY be autosensing. Otherwise, you have to use a crossover cable, not a standard patch cable.
