Networking useing a internet server
I have a router, and need to share the internet connection, however there is no usb port on the router. My modem is a USB modem, i would like to share the internet connection. So the internet would have to run through one computer and all the other computers wpuld access te internet through the one computer. How is it possible to do this?
The main computer will be running windows xp SP2 The other computers will be runinng windows 98. Any help would be appreciated. |

if at all possible it is best to use a modem that has a eathernet port on it and then use a standard router to run the network.

If you must use a USB modem, connect all computers to a standard network hub or switch (NOT a router) and set up the computer with the modem as a gateway.
