Did you run the home wireless network wizard and follow all the steps?

Do you have File/Print Sharing enabled on both? Are they both in the same Work Group and each has a different name? Are you using any firewalls?

i found that completely disabling the firewalls on both machines, then adding a network connection \\computername\shareddocs works fine, as of yet i am unable to access my network between computers without disabling the firewalls to gain access. however after i open the network place i an enable my firewall.
