Sharing drivers w/ XP Home

Hi I've a setup:

A) XP Home
B) Win 2k

A has to share its drives to the network, so I login in safe mode and give permission only to: Administrator and Administrators group. Reboot and login as an administrator group user.

B now has to access A's drives. How can I do that? I try to map a network drive but when I try to access it i get denied. I tried to setup the permissions logged in as user:A/Administrator or simply user:Administrator but neither works...

It would be a lot easier just to leave XP Home alone and let simple file sharing work as intended. Run the home networking wizard.

Yea simple file sharing works fine, I just wanted to setup permissions and whatnot... I guess until I figure it out I'll just use the simple setup for now. Thanks

You need XP Pro to do what you want. Disable simple filesharing and use Win2K-style security.
