Question Quick question re: Subnetting

I simply need to know if the subnet 255.255.255.0 can communicate with 255.255.255.1 and why it is able to do so. If anyone would help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Tony

Nevermind, if I'm correct it is possible to communicate between subnets if there is a router or similar piece of hardware or software to forward communications

Thanks

Tony

255.255.255.1 is not a valid subnet mask.

Yes, you need a router to communicate between different subnets.
