connecting 2 comps to wireless internet-will they know?
ok, so the wireless internet i want to get says it's only for one computer. now, i can use a router between two computers in order for the 2nd computer to use the 1st computer's internet access, right? so what's stopping me from doing this? will they know if i have more than one computer using the internet? i really don't see why they'd even care (as long as both comps are under my ownership), other than wanting more money with the same amount of data transfer allowance. i won't waste your time, asking how to do it, as i'll research that myself; i'm just curious to know if/how they'd know if i was doing it. thanks, Reuben

You are correct about using a router to access the internet with more than one PC on the same connection.
The best answer would be to check with your internet service provider but I see no reason why it would be a problem. I have 3 PC's and a laptop running through a wireless router. |
