Irritating Home Networking Problem Arisies (AGAIN)
I am posted this problem here before but couldn't find the thread so forgive me. Right now I have two desktops and a laptop. All of them can get internet access no problem. I bring my laptop at school and do a lot of homework on it, and i want to create a network so i can share files as well as printers rather than e-mail documents to myself. My laptop is wireless and my 2 other desktops are connected via router through LAN. When i open up the network places on either one of my desktops, it can see the other desktops' shared files and printers but not the laptop. More bizzare, when i open up the workgroup menu from the desktop, it see the laptop on there but it cannot read from it. I have run the laptop through the XP Home network setup numerous times but to no avail. Sometimes it will work, then other times it just won't. Is this a software confliction with my Toshiba Laptop or what?
