Help: internet connection problem bridging PC to xbox.
Hello guys and gals,
I have a bit of a problem and would appreciate it if someone could provide me with some help. Here is my problem: I bought a NIC card and crossover cable in an attempt to connect my microsoft xbox directly to my pc. Both ethernet ports on the PC work if I connect them directly to the internet. I connected the xbox to the second ethernet port with the crossover cable and when I create a bridge connection to connect the PC and xbox connections, I can not connect to the internet at all (even with the PC). I have to delete the bridge for the PC internet to work again. What am I missing or what could be the problem that is causing my bridged connection to not work? Info on my PC: I have a Dell that is running Windows home edition, I have cable modem internet. If any other info is needed, let me know and I will provide it. Thanks for any help that can be provided. |

Try rebooting your computer and xbox.

Instead of bridging, use internet connection sharing.
