Nortel network software is hurtin my head
I have a laptop here using contivity client VPN (software made by Nortel Networks) I am trying to connect to the remote server using the software however I get a "physical connection has been lost error" everytime. I went in the cmd console and PING'ed the server and I get reply's from the server however it says "Destination Net Unreachable......" Now what does that mean exactly and/or has anyone used this sotware and encountered this issue and know how to solve it.....and we have already check ALL config settings for the software so it is all set

I don't know if anyone would even know of a next step however I Ran a "tracert" command from the cmd prompt and found that it was reaching the destination (tufts is the server destination) but was stopping there and saying destination net unreachable........this is a nightmare....

it sounds like your connection is dying/getting killed at the VPN device at Tufts and that usually is caused by a lack of permissions on that side of the link. Have you discussed this with Tufts? It may be as simple as they gave you the encryption keys but didn't activate your account on their side.
