AVG free versus AVG Pro
Trying to find a comparison list between AVG free versus AVG Pro. Have checked the Grisoft site, but can't find any comparisons. Would AVG Pro be any better at stopping viruses than the free version, or do you just get more bells and whistles ?

Under "Welcome to the AVG Free Web Site." I believe the biggest similarity between the two versions is that they use the same scanning engine. kram

Thanks Kram, that is what I was looking for. It looks like the Free version does "what is important" just as the Pro version.

The Pro version can customize scans and schedules and uses faster update servers. You also get e-mail support. It's no better at stopping viruses.
