Belkin Wireless G Router problem
Hi there.
I wonder if someone could help me please. I have a new pc running Windows XP and I cannot get this router to do what it's supposed to. My internet connection works fine straight into the pc and I've run the belkin wizard a zillion times - it accepts the internet connection fine, for a couple of minutes and then that stupid green light starts flashing again. The frustrating thing is that I got it working on an older pc (still running XP though) and it too took me numerous tries until it just worked for some reason and I didn't touch it again. That was only a few weeks ago however but not it will not work at all. I was going to just return it to the shop next chance I had, but I thought I'd give another go in the meantime. -Anyone use one of these and have a similar problem? |

Cable or DSL? Is the computer using a wireless connection or is it hard-wired to the router?

It's broadband through an ethernet cable anyway (sorry I can never remember whether it's called adsl or dsl or what). The pc is hardwired to the router and I want the router then to broadcast that wireless signal around the house so that I can connect a couple of notebooks up to the web. However when I connect it up, after a very brief period of activity the router goes on the blink and there is no web or network access through the pc or anything else. Then if I remove the router from the loop and connect the pc to the broadband modem, it works as normal.
