Wireless router question
Hey everyone, I have a wierd question. Do they make a router that would accept a wireless signal (as opposed to send it out), and then send it too three computers connected directly to it?
Basically I want to network three computers together but none of them are directly connected to a modem. One of them recieves the internet wirelessly, (via a card), and the other two have no connectivity. I would like the other two to recive the internet either from the main PC which is connected or the router. |

What you want is a regular wireless router with built in 4-port switch than you can connect all your PC's either way you want to, wire, or wireless, and your broadband modem will be connected to the router.

If your internet is wireless, the best thing to do is get a modem from the provider that has an Ethernet output, then connect it to a router. If you must use an internal card, you have to use internet connection sharing. This will share the card to your Ethernet adapter, which you connect to a standard switch, connect the other computers to the switch too.
