Unhappy port forward this game

I got this Linksys BEFW11S4 wireless router and I'm trying to host a game called DeltaForce2 I got the port numbers here

Delta Force 2
IN UDP 3568
IN UDP 3569

I input them into the portforwarding section and click apply it seems to work BUT my game is not accessible BUT it works with my SMCWBR14T-G wireless router that stops working when ever it wants so thats why I got this router seems more stable but just this one problem with the port forwarding is there something I'm over looking when setting this up ???

If I'm not mistaken there is a game config in the Linksys router settings. Have you looked in there?

do you have a firewall? When you hooked up the new router the firewall might of started blocking the game from being able to access the internet.

don't shut off the firewall just go into the screen that shows what the firewall is allowing and check the game there to allow it. That's how you do it on the windows firewall but if you have a different one then just search around in the firewall settings for that. If you have the windows firewall go to control panel - security settings - manage firewall at the bottom - exceptions and see if the firewall is allowing the game to access the internet

I got it working I had to goto the linksys web site and I found they use a different way of doing the port forwarding thing
http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...hp?p_faqid=534

I don't like the way they do it but I just put it back to normal after hosting games Thanks for your help anyways ghost
