Internet Problem

Ok..... Whenever I log in and try to connect on to the internet, my internet wont work. I tried everything. This has been going on for like months. We switched internet providers but that didnt work. Usually I have to disconnect the wires and connect them back in to get the internet to work. I think it might be a DNS problem because at the bottom it always say DNS error. I dont know if its the internet or the computer. Altough the internet works for awhile and then when you turn off the computer, it wont work again.

Can you give us some information about your computer and your internet connection?
Is this a store bought machine or custom built, what operating system do you have and finally how do you connect to the internet dial up or dsl/cable?
