PC Mech Logs me out each time
I am having problems with my home pc. I can still log in to PC Mech though, it's just that for eg, if I want to attach a doc or photo, it logs me out again. And not only that, whenever I want to post a new thread, it keeps on logging me out and I have to log in again at least 3 times then I am able to post or attach a doc.
It takes me 3 times to log in in order to post this thread. Then it would say "invalid thread, please contact the adminstrator" but when I view my message on the board, I am quite surprised it's there. Please help. I am getting frustrated. I have already clear the cache and the the problem is still there...Btw, I am using Firefox...Could it be my Firefox because since I changed to Firefox, I got this problem. Thanks in advance. |

Sounds like cookies aren't being saved...

How do these cookies are being saved? Are there any settings somewhere?

In Internet Explorer-tools-internet options-privacy, check what the slider is set at.
Medium high should work ok. Also it could just be that the cookie is timing out. I don't know how long it persists, but I think that it isn't permanent and times out after a certain amount of time.

Now i also noticed that whenever I log in to other website such as Hi5 or Friendster, they did not recognise my username and password although it's the correct one....
But strangely, I can still log in to Yahoo emails and other web mail based sites with no problem..But this only happens to my home computer and not my office one. I am not sure if my home PC is infected with Spyware...I religiously run a spyware, ad-ware and malware scan regularly....So far, I installed Ad-Aware, Ewido, Black Ice, Spyware Blaster and Windows Defender...And I hope this is good enough. |
