Ethernet Cable Question
I recently purchased and installed a Linksys 2.4 gig broadband router. I have a high speed cable connection and this has slowed my download speeds.
Is there some kind of ethernet connector or something I can use with one connection out of my cable modem and then be able to plug directly into my pc and wireless modem. That would keep my download speeds on my PC high and just use the wireless for my secondary computer. Hope this makes since ! |

No, it doesn't really make sense. How do you have it set up now? Is your PC connected by wire to the router? If it is, then there shouldn't be any affect on download speeds.

Sorry I did not make myself clear
My present hook up is from my cable router direct to my PC and I have fast download speeds. When I hook it up from my cable router to Linksys router to PC, my download speeds decrease greatly. |

Is that a cable modem, or a cable router?
What specific models are the cable modem and your router?
