Will ZA mess up ICS? Sometimes after installing ZA, I noticed that the ICS icon disappeared from my sys tray and other computers on this NW cant connect. I am not sure when the problem came about but I know It worked fine before the ZA install. ICS is loading according to the start-up tab in msconfig. and the DLL appear in Taskinfo, but there is no icon or program to check ICS.
In ZA I have ICS checked and have medium security set local and internet. I have even disabled ZA and ICS still doesnt work. Is this maybe a coincidence? Thre are 2 W98 and a W95 on the NW with a hub. Thanks for any info.

Have you gone into ZA and enabled ICS in the programs section?

It is not listed in the program tab but it is checked off in the Advanced section of the Security tab.

Searching thru Fred Langa's archives, I found that the $40 PRO version "....can even coexist on a PC that's sharing its internet connection with other PCs." So I guess that is it. But as I said, even if I turn it off, the ICS doesnt come back. Maybe Ill have to reinstall ICS. Any other thoughts?

ZA can be a pain when you change your setup - its best to completely uninstall it and reinstall it.
