Ethernet Cable
I am tring to hook up a router to a gateway computer to get wireless for my laptop. The gateway computer is kind of old and it doesn't have an ethernet jack. It has a regular telephone jack. What do I have to do to get this hooked up.

You will need to check there is a PCI slot available on the Gateway machine and if there is you will need to buy a network adapter for it.
It is not a telephone connection...it's called an RJ45 connection. The network adapter will not cost more than £15. Only other thing you will need is an ethernet cable to go from the network card to the router.
