Internet connection
Anyone shed some light on a connection problem?.When i start my PC everythings fine but if i leave the connection without activity for a while it drops dead.Until i re-start that is, when its all fine again for a limited time.Any help would be great thanx in advance.

Check the power management settings on your network adapter in device manager.

Need more info to give you any kind of intelligent answer... What kind of internet connection and how exactly are you connected up to your PC?

No worries.The connection is a 2MB cable connection runnin through a Linksys wireless router and then straight into a network card?.Any better?.

Had no luck but thanx for the help (not).Still i bypassed the router and my speed soon shot up so can you give any tips as to why a wireless router would il the connection

Try updating the router's firmware and doing a hard reset - then reconfigure it.
