Mail Problem

I reside in Ireland and have no problem receiving mails from outside the country.
However, a mail sent from within the country does not arrive.
All I get is notification that the antivirus has checked the mail.

I can collect the mails on my other computer without a problem.
I’m using broadband and both machines use the same email address and ISP.

Would appreciate any info. on this.
Thanks

For an experiment, disable the AVG email plugin.

Sorry about that glc.
Instead of disabling the plug-in I used (quit AVG control centre)

When I realised my mistake I disabled the plug-in and my mail is fine as long
as the plug-in is disabled.

Does anybody have the answer to this problem?
