anti virus pgm for win xp professional x64
Was going to download Nortons 2007 anti virus pgm. but not too sure that it will run in my OS. Talking to tech support did not give me much of a warm fuzzy feeling..
I thought that 32 bit applications will run under win xp professional x64.. Think that 32 bit applications are installed in Program files x86.. Any suggestions as to whether Nortons 2007 will run in my machine? Vitals: Win xp professional x64 edition athlon64 x2 5200 corsair 6400 two gig Viewsonic VG2021M and other stuff.. Thanks Bob Hager

Avast and NOD32 both list free AV programs that support the 64 bit XP platform. Either have had good reviews by members here at PCM.
