Router Issue
Quick question. Ive been having some internet issues. At any given moment, I would just lose internet connection. But no warning is given. I suddenly cannot ping anywhere except PC's in my network. I figured its my ISP's fault, but I slowly began to realize it is my Router (Linksys BEFSR41). Now its a rather old router (going on over 4 years if not more). And after I power cycle it, the problem goes away. So is there a way to stop this or is my router starting to die on me? If the latter is the case, it wont be so bad as I'm planning on getting a wireless router anyway.
TIA.

Before dumping the router, update the firmware, do a hard reset, and reconfigure it. Blow the dust out of it and don't set anything on top of it, it may be overheating.
