I am having problem downloading an attached file

Hello,

I am having problem downloading an attached file, I have sent this file from my yahoo based account to hotmail account. The file is successfully attached on e-mail and when i send it to my hotmail account ,it is successfully sent ,but when i click on "download file", it gives me the following error messege:

Internet Explorer cannot download ........................................ 64.4.56.250.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"

Can anyone please let me know why am i having this problem? Is their something wrong with the hotmail server or the file is not attached properly?

are you saving it to your hard drive or trying to open the file from location?

use the save as and save the file locally

also try clear out your dns cache
start>run>cmd>ipconfig /flushdns

u mean to say that my computer is using its cache to access the hotmail server and it might be using the old IP address of hotmail server.

Ok, I'll try your advice, thanks for waking me up?
