Router Problem

I'm having a problem with my Bellkin Router. I think it keeps restarting itself. Every so often, all the computers (3) in my house just disconnect from the router or it simply doesn't go to a web page. After disconnecting and reconnecting my router, it works fine. Do you guys know why my router keeps doing this?

Check their website for a firmware update...

Aside from that, make sure it's not overheating--that there is good air flow around it.
Replace cables--could be a bad cable between it and the modem.

Might be time to shop for a new router.

Belkin routers are known for their crappyness. For a better router go with a higher end D-link or a linksys router. (WRT54G) If can't / won't get new router than try setting it to it's default and then upgrade the firmware. Or you can get a new router.

WRT54G has issues - get a WRT54GL if you buy a new router.

It's likely still under warranty.

Look out for the ventilation issues, and double check your cables before going down that road.

I have the same problem, and replaced my Linksys router with a D-Link, yet the freeze continues to occur. I recently called up my cable provider and they "wacked my modem around a bit." It seems to have worked for now.
