Boom Xbox 360 to PC Media Sharing Failure

Hello everyone. Here is my problem.

I am trying to connect my pc and my Xbox 360 together in order to share media. It seems they are having trouble seeing each other on my network.

I will describe my network. Dsl modem ---> DLink Dl624 Router (DHCP) ---> One wired desktop pc, one laptop with wireless, and xbox 360 on wireless. I have setup static dhcp ips. Desktop PC (xp home) is ...100, Laptop (XP Pro) is ...101, and Xbox is ...104.

I am using Norton Internet Security on PC but have ruled it out by disabling it completely in order to test. Windows firewall is disabled. Also, I have upgraded the Dlink router's firmware and opened all the ports that i'm supposed to open by configuring the firewall. (I am fairly certain I have done this correctly. I opened ports from LAN 192.168.0.104 to LAN 192.168.0.100.)

I have both Windows Media Player 11 and Zune, which are Microsofts media sharing programs, and I've followed the steps for sharing media. In both cases, ther programs don't recognize the Xbox is even on the network, even though Xbox Live works and is connected to the internet.

Now interestingly enough, I have WMP 11 on my laptop as well and i attempted to share and it actually saw the Xbox on the network. Weird. Don't fully understand what is going on. I have a suspicion it may have something to do with UPnP. I will check it out later. I have searched on this topic and found that just in the last two weeks or so a lot of people have been having this problem. Any suggestions? Know how to fix?
