Problem with Router
Well a friend has recently updated to Virgin Media, which used to be on NTL Dial-up. Well anyway, it's only noticing the USB when she puts it into the PC, the ethernet is unable to be found. The problem with the wireless router is that we can't get the internet going through it, how can I get the router working through the pc or the USB? The computer works only with the USB so I'm also wondering if there's any way to make it work with just the Ethernet.
Thanks, all help appreciated. |

Did Virgin supply you with a new modem/router? if so can you tell us what make and model it is?
Can you give us some specifications about the computer involved? again make and model or custom built?

It should work fine through Ethernet if the adapter is enabled and the drivers are installed.
