Win XP Home wireless connect
I just installed SP2 to Win XP Home; connected a NetGear Wireless Adaptor to USB connection; viewed available network connections; typed in WEP key and spent the night on the Internet. Next morning turned on the computer and tried the Internet but had no connection. Started the process all over again but this time the box that allows Windows to set up wireless connection is unchecked; so I check it; hit okay but when I go to view wireless network connections I find that the box I just checked is now unchecked. I have repeated the steps several times; rebooted the computer; same result. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried uninstalling the network drivers (after unplugging the USB adapter)? Re-plug it, and let Windows install it again... |
