No Sound from online Videos

When I try to watch a video on the web, such as mlb.com Fastcast, a new window pops-up and the video has to buffer. After buffering, the video plays with no sound. Only happens when I want to play a video that has to be downloaded from the net.

Is there a setting I can change to play those videos with sound?

provided its not something silly like sounds has been turned off in IE7 its likely a codec issue. You could try installing a free codec pack like this

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm

I once had a problem where internet videos had no picture but they did have sound, it was a codec problem, so the link above should solve your problem.
