Problem connecting to shared printer

There is 1 HP 1400 Printer which is shared on WinXP SP2 computer and i was just trying to print on this printer from my own computer which is in the different workgroup.

Pls note that it is a LAN environment where PCs are connected via switches.

When i checked into the printer and faxes window i couldnot see this shared printer so i clicked on Add printer which asked me that whether i want to connect to local printer or connect to a printer which is shared on the network.

I clicked on "connect to a printer which is shared on the network". Than it asked me the path for the shared printer.

I entered the following path.

\\computername\printer name (enter)

After this i got the following error messege:
The server for the HP PSC 1400 series printer doesnot have the correct printer driver installed. If you want to search for the proper driver ,click ok. Otherwise ,click cancel and contact your network administrator or original equipment manufacturer for the correct printer driver.


Although the other Win XP computer which is also in the same LAN environment can connect to this shared printer and print documents successfully and the user on that other computer can view the shared printer in its "printer and faxes".
