trouble in game lan
Okay, my friends and I get together and lan. We got the trouble shooting of getting our computers to see each other and share files and have separate IP's and stuff down. However, we run into trouble when we try to get on the net as well. Normally, the best we do is two computers on lan and the net at the same time. If we do just the lan, we seem to have no upward limit, but with an ethernet modem connection, we only manage two computers on the net. If we use an usb modem, we sometimes can share the web, but can't play games together. Any suggestions?

What are you using for a router? An actual router or ICS or what?

set both the computers to DHCP, and give some more details on what you are using to share the Internet connection
