Question on Cable Internet

I have been using RoadRunner since 2004.
And I wil be moving soon, so the questioin is, is there any better Cable internet services?
Or is it the cable modem they supply? I have been using the Motorola Surboard since i got RoadRunner.
And indeed my internet isn't that well.
(Even when hard wired)
So should I just stick with RR and get a better modem? Or what?

I would think it would depend more so on where you're moving to, and what providers are available.

Are both providers available at your specific address? I'm guessing not, but if so, RR is a better company. Nothing wrong with a Motorola Surfboard, in my opinion it's the best cable modem out there.

Yeah, RR is. Use to be Aldephia.
Got the date for them to transfer the service to the new house.
Must be my wireless PCI card that sucks

Which motorola surfboard is it? They call all their modems surfboards, so you could have a very outdated one.

Most of the time when I look at anyone's PC, it's usually that they have way too much running in the backround that is slowing everything down.
