Your message was not delivered

This is out of my area of expertise, so please bear with my.

The IT consulting firm that hosts my companies email using: ArGoSoft Mail Server Web Interface v1.0.4.1. has made some changes to the system to help with spam etc…

I can no longer email my companies support address from my home account with Time Warner/Road Runner. (a few clients of ours get the same error) The error I receive is:

This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:

Your message was not delivered because the destination computer refused
to accept it (the error message is reproduced below). This type of error
is usually due to a mis-configured account or mail delivery system on the
destination computer; however, it could be caused by your message since
some mail systems refuse messages with invalid header information, or if
they are too large.

Your message was rejected by mail.xxxx.com for the following
reason:

Rejected by SORBS DNSBL
From what little I understand, the mail is not being accepted because Road Runner doesn’t have a reverse DNS information in its mail headers??

Has my IT company lost its mind or is there a solution to this…..I was told I'd need to contact Road Runner and have them fix this on their end...This of course makes no sense to me since I have a few clients that I know of on other ISP's that can't send me mail either.

Member on another site fixed me up.

SORBS
Fighting spam by finding and listing Exploitable Servers
http://www.au.sorbs.net/

The Spam and Open Relay Blocking System (SORBS) was conceived as an anti-spam project where a daemon would check "on-the-fly", all servers from which it received email to determine if that email was sent via various types of proxy and open-relay servers. The daemon was not particularly well written and served as a lesson in programming for its original author, Matthew Sullivan.
