Hey all.
so my old computer doesnt pick up my internet no more through my ethernet cable so i assume the built in ethernet port has dies on my motherboard,Although the computer still works fine. i have installed all the drivers for it and still no luck,Its enable in the bios aswell but it just doesnt pick nothing up. i know my internet is fine because it works no problems on my new computer. if i buy this should i be able to use the internet on the machine again? http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...0CARD&doy=20m2 its a 10/100 Ethernet PCI Network Card. tks |

That should work, as long as you have a spare PCI slot in your computer.
Hope that helps. Ray |

You might want to try a new Cat5 cable first, could be you have a break in the wires.
Have you checked Device Manager to see if there is a problem with the NIC? Kissfan
