setup computer to send Faxes
Hi,
I need some help on setting up my computer to send Faxes. I've done this before, but forgot. I have and internal modem that came with the machine. Its hook up to the phone line. I have microsoft word 2003.OS Vista home. I believe the problem is, when I look for the fax icon its not their. Please Help Thanks Anthony

Vista Home editions do not have fax capability. You will have to buy a 3rd party solution.

Is their Any free 3rd party software. When I had XP, I was able to fax. I only need to fax about ten times a year. When I had XP, I was able to fax throw fax wizard in word. This time theirs no icon. I have a software program that came with my Printer. Lexmark imaging studio that has a fax icon on its desk top, but I was never able to fax with it. Maybe if I play around with this software I can get it to work?? Thanks for your Help

If you have Outlook, depending on version, it may have Symantec Fax Starter Edition available. I do not know if it's compatible with Vista.
