Question Router connection question

Hello,

I have a D-Link EBR 2310 router, was working fine until yesterday, the problem is that when I try to connect to the internet, the connection icon says that the connection has limited or no connectivity, I can't access the internet and the router web interface either, but I can connect through the web directly. I have made the test with the Xbox360, but can't connect through the router either, but I connect directly through the cable modem, I used all my network cables to connect directly to the internet and connected everytime. I have reset the router various times and left it unplugged all night and tied again this morning, but still can't connect through the router, what other thing I can do to try to connect through the router or do you think it is going bad?

Thanks.

Have you powered the cable modem off for a few minutes? This usually must be done when switching from direct to router and back to reset the MAC address in the cable modem. If your modem also handles your telephone service, the internal battery must also be removed for a few minutes to do the reset.

Thumbs up

Yes, I have reset the cable modem by unplugging the power cable, I have also used the ipconfig/release command and repair connection with no luck, looks is time to search for a new router.

Thanks for the reply.
