Vista--access denied to shared printer

We just got our first Vista Business computer (laptop), and I'm trying to get it to connect to a networked shared printer that is on the teacher's main computer.

but, although I can see the printer itself, whenever I try to connect to it, it says 'Access Denied'. I am logged on to the Vista machine as an administrator. I can connect to this printer using an MCE computer and an XP computer, so there apparently must be some setting I need to change on Vista to let me get at this printer.

Anyone know what that might be?

Make sure the user accounts on both computers have passwords. Vista will not let you share files without it.
